So, like, last week there was this Beijing half-marathon, right? And like, 18 robots were all set to race, but a few of them totally face-planted before even starting. And then one of them crashed into a railing. But the rest of them made it through without any glitches, which is pretty impressive, I guess. The winner finished in two hours and 40 minutes, and five others actually completed the whole course. Meanwhile, the human runners were just standing there, scratching their heads, probably wondering what the heck they just witnessed.
And get this, Elon Musk better watch out because these Chinese robots are giving him a run for his money. Not really sure why this matters, but it’s kinda cool to see robots racing against humans, you know? Who knows, maybe one day we’ll have robot Olympians or something. But for now, let’s just enjoy the show.
